The World of Legion

Xavier

Xavier is a dark, brooding, man in his late-20's.  He's not exactly evil, but walks a fine line on the edge of darkness.  This is a difficult reality for him since he is a genuinely kind and conscientious person.  He is posessed by the demon Legion (see below).  Xavier and Legion fight to control Xavier's body and soul.   At times, Legions consciousness pushes through to the surface.  When this happens, Xavier shows signs of his posession in the form of bat wings, horns, sharp teeth, bleeding eyes, bulging muscles, sulphur breath, etc.  This is not a gentle transformation.  When his body changes, it hurts and when the demon aspects protrude from Xavier's skin, blood flows.

Legion

Legion is a Major Demon from Hell.

According to the bible and older sources, Legion is made up of 1000 minor demons.  Each minor demon has various characteristics and powers.  It's that multitude of abilities that makes Legion so powerful.  This host of minor demons has evolved into a singular consciousness and persona, thus forming the one Major Demon... Legion.

Dawnrunner

Dawnrunner is Native-American, in her late-20's, and is an Angel.

Dawn is a childhood friend of Xavier.  They grew up together and their origin is intertwined.  She has always had a soft spot in her heart for Xavier and the events that made them what they are today have made that bond even stronger for her.  She is the essence of beauty and grace.  All the characteristics associated with peace, beauty, and radiance flow from her in every circumstance.

Archbishop Arawn

Archbishop Arawn is mankinds greatest hope in avoiding Armageddon on Earth.  We just don't know it.  The Archbishop rarely leaves the Vatican and most regular people in the world have no idea he exists.  He is the embodiment of "Big Brother".  Arawn is most comfortable when sitting at the desk, wearing an expensive 3-piece suit.  Prayer beads almost always twist through his fingers, and when he's not wearing them, his priestly garments hang on a hook beside his desk.  He is very thin and very old yet he has an aura of power and a relaxed confidence.  He is always in control, cool and calculating control.

Dr. Horace Ewen

Dr. Ewen is a brilliant scientist.  He works for the Vatican, and Archbishop Arawn.  Dr. Ewen's work would be seen as experimental and tends to bend (if not out and out break) the rules of ethics.  Dr. Horace Ewen is extremely old, frail and thin boned.  His posture is hunched over and his body is very
skeleton-like.  He is pale.  Dr. Ewen is a bit of a recluse and an oddball, but he is brilliant.

April Woods

April is the personal secretary to Archbishop Arawn.  She is in her early 20's and is absolutely gorgeous.  She typically wears a short skirt and her blouse is usually open to show off more cleavage that should be proper for a woman working for the Vatican.  April is not a sissy, she can (and often does) take matters into her own hands and whips the snot out of any Hellspawn that crosses her path.  She is not a bodyguard to Arawn, just his secretary, but when you work for the most powerful man on Earth for a while, you pick up on certain skills...

Sandalphon

Sandalphon is very tall.  He stands almost  seven feet, and exudes grace and power.  He is the Angel liason from Heaven to Earth.  He brings reconaissance information to Archbishop Arawn (and others) when it is needed.  Sandalphon carries on a ceaseless battle with the Hellspawned Demon,  Samael, and his endless army of evil.

Bruce Guilford

Bruce used to be a member of the Vatican Secret Knights (the modern day representation of the Knights Templar).  Bruce is now half-vampire and mostly crazy from an experiment by Dr. Ewen.  He is equipped with an extremely modified multi-bazooka.  He used to be one of the two heavy weapons operatives of the Secret Knights.  His missile launcher weapon is mounted on his shoulder and connects to his body via an array of servos, hydraulics and straps. He has large, bulging muscles and chain smokes cigarettes.  Bruce always wears a knit beanie hat and a sleeveless tactical shirt.  Like all the rest of the Vatican Secret Knights, Bruce has a tattoo of a skull with a halo.  His tattoo is on his right shoulder.

Vatican Secret Knights

The Vatican Secret Knights are the modern day interpretation of Knights Templar.  They work directly for the Vatican and report to Archbishop Arawn.  They are a team of highly trained and high tech soldiers.  During combat operations, they dress in skin-tight, black combat suits, and are outfitted with the latest in futuristic technology as well as vicious swords and hand-to-hand weapons.  They are badasses.  As initiation into the Secret Knights, each member gets a tattoo of a skull with a halo.

Aric Morris

Aric is the Squad Leader of the Vatican Secret Knights.  He is a tall, wiry man in his mid 30's.  His head is shaved clean and his skull and halo tattoo is on the left side of his head.  He carries a mean looking long range rifle.  He is a sniper and wears high-tech headgear that acts as his scope and binoculars.  Aric is military to the core.

Clint Dennison

Clint Dennison is a member of the Vatican Secret Knights.  He is in his late 40's, and is the older brother of Secret Knight Duncan Dennison.  Clint crops his hair short, in a standard flattop cut and wears glasses.  His tattoo is on the left side of his neck.  He is equipped with an assault rifle and carries a wicked looking jagged sword on his hip.

Duncan Dennison

Duncan Dennison, squad member of the Vatican Secret Knights, is in his mid-20's.  He is the younger brother of Clint.  Duncan has his hair shoulder length and pulled back in a ponytail.  His tattoo is on his left forearm.  He carries an assault rifle and has six nasty daggers on his belt.

Marcus White

Marcus is the heavy weapons operative.  He is a black man, and carries a huge Gatling minigun mounted on servos and straps attached to his body.  He is a huge man with very large muscles.  His shirt is sleeveless.  His head is shaved, and he wears a military cap.  His tattoo is on his right shoulder.

Lacey Woods

Lacey is the only woman on the Vatican Secret Knights.  She is equipped with a shotgun and a plethora of vials, pots, pouches, books and boxes strapped to her body.  She is the equipment officer and brings all the salves, pills, potions and knowledge needed to be prepared for any occasion.  Her hair is also cropped at shoulder length and her tattoo is on the left side of her neck.
